Request on behalf of Guruprasad for his operation

Sub: Financial help required by Sri Guruprasad Shetty for Kidney transplantation regarding.

Sri Guruprasad Shetty aged 24 years is a resident of Kelagina Mane House, Post-Delanthabettu, Mangalore. His father Sri Sanjeeva Shetty is having a small piece of agricultural land and income from this is the main source of income for their family. As the health condition of Shri Guruprasad is very bad due to failure of both kidneys he is unable to go for any job or even work in his own agriculture fields. He lost his mother at a very early age. He is undergoing dialysis treatment 3 times in a week for the last 3 years at the Yenapoya Hospital Mangalore. After dialysis, he becomes very tired, that he is not able to do his routine and personal woks at home. As he is not able to pay the amount of Rs15,000 to 20,000 which is the weekly expenditure for dialysis, the same is borne by the neighbours and his friends/relatives. The balance amount for the treatment is borne by taking hand loans from friends and relatives. Seeing this desperate condition, now that one of his relative is ready to donate a kidney and the operation is planned to be done at Manipal Hospital Bangalore. The surgery may require cost of Rs 12 lakhs. Due to the financial problem the surgery is getting delayed and the dialysis is continued, which is costing extra expenditure. The sooner, the surgery is done, the better for Sri Guruprasad, otherwise his life itself is under great danger as he is running out of his resources. Hence we kindly request for all possible financial help from Youth Clubs and other Public Organisations. Please have a positive mind and do contribute for this cause and see that Sri Guruprasad comes back to his life with full vigour and energy. If we can bring him back to his normal life again, that will be the greatest thing we can do to a person in this society who really needs our help.
